Our company is expanding, and we are looking for a Compliance & Accreditation Coordinator to ensure our business remains compliant with industry regulations and maintains key accreditations such as Construction Line, CHAS, SMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Role Overview
As a Compliance & Accreditation Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our health & safety, environmental, and quality certifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our business adheres to industry standards, enabling us to secure contracts and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Accreditation Management
- Maintain and renew Construction Line, CHAS, SMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and documentation meet accreditation standards.
- Liaise with certification bodies and auditors for inspections and audits.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies and risk assessments.
- Support site teams with compliance-related guidance and training.
Environmental & Quality Assurance
- Oversee ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) compliance.
- Work with internal teams to improve quality control measures.
- Monitor and reduce the company’s environmental impact in line with sustainability goals.
Documentation & Reporting
- Keep accurate records of compliance documentation, training logs, and audit reports.
- Prepare and submit PQQs (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires) and other compliance-related documents.
- Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet the required compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in compliance, health & safety, or accreditation management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of Construction Line, CHAS, SMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations (HSE) and CDM 2015.
- Ability to manage audits, certifications, and documentation effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
Desirable Qualifications
- NEBOSH / IOSH Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in construction or civil engineering compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and compliance management software.
