An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative to join Gravitas International Ltd, a Manchester-based family business that manufactures and distributes environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional construction products. With roots dating back to 1965, we are a UK-based leader in innovative products for the water, construction, and environmental sectors, committed to lowering the global carbon footprint. Our clients include National Highways, The Environment Agency, SEPA, Network Rail, councils, and housing developers across the UK.
The Role:
We are expanding our Construction division and looking for a Site Operative, reporting to our Contracts Manager, to install Flex MSE, a vegetated retaining wall system. This will include manual handling, following designs and using the laser level, alongside general construction practices.
You will also be hydroseeding the wall, and will receive full training, so no prior experience of this is necessary.
Working hours will be 8am - 4pm, however travelling to different sites around the country may be required outside of these hours. Additional pay for driving hours

Requirements:
- Self-motivated, reliable and punctual
- Machine Tickets (Not Essential)
- CSCS Card (Not Essential)
- Willingness to travel, including overnight stays Mon-Fri
- A clean, valid UK driver’s license
